Graham’s Internet career began in 1995 as one of the original launch team for AOL in the UK. From looking after the Internet & Computing Channels, he moved on to build the Product Management and Localisation team for AOL UK. As Director, he was responsible for all of the member-facing areas of the UK service including the AOL client software, email, instant messaging, parental controls, search, community and other products. He represented AOL in the press, on radio and on TV. In 2004, Graham was appointed Director of Search, a time of unprecedented revenue growth in search advertising. During this time, AOL moved from Yahoo!/Overture to Google for search advertising, and made other major changes to the search portfolio.
In 2006, Graham was seconded to the newly formed Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre, part of the Serious & Organised Crime Agency. There he was embedded in the Centre alongside police and child protection professionals in a unique organisation tackling the problems of online abuse. In 2007, Graham helped found a small boutique consultancy, Paricint LLP, where he is Technology Partner.
