Sheetal is Founder of Shanti Microfinance, a social enterprise that provides access to technology and capital for entrepreneurs in slums. Sheetal is UK Deal Maker (by appointment) for the UK Trade and Investment’s Global Entrepreneur Programme where she acts a liaison between Government and entrepreneurs who go can grow globally from the UK via strategic partnerships. Previously, Sheetal was Director of Venture Capital Relations at Microsoft in the Silicon Vally and EMEA. Sheetal has a Masters, International Relations (Economics) at the London School of Economics and a BA (Honors) in International Politics at the University of Alberta, Canada. She has been awarded and hosted by the Queen, Prince Charles and Cheri Blaire for her global contribution to the technology world.
