A handy little tool
It has to be said, there is probably many similiar applications out there that offer the same functionality. Having the ability to crop a whole screen is just nifty, but, having to pay full whack prices for the likes of Paint Shop Pro can leave many people out of pocket especially if thats the only feature you intend to use
If like me you only want to capture the whole webpage as an image then you’ll be happy to know about Page Saver.
Page Saver (by Pearl Cresent) is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that lets you capture images of web pages. These images can be saved in PNG format or (with Firefox 2) in JPEG format. The entire page or just the visible portion may be captured. Options let you control whether images are captured at full size (which is the default) or scaled down to a smaller size. Page Saver uses the canvas feature that was introduced in Firefox 1.5.
Trust me, it really is as simple as it gets. The extension places a small camera icon within your Firefox browser. No additional applications taking chunks of resources, it doesnt get any easier than this. Oh, did I mention its free?
All together now …. Happy Days! If anyone knows of any equally cool browser extensions, I’d be glad to hear about them

I realize that this is not an extension for Firefox but…it’s the best screen capture tool that I have ever used. Built in editor with highlighter, arrow tool, shadow tool and even torn edge.
…and…it’s FREE

[...] Again, another nifty little tool which I thought deserved a follow up post from my first post about such tools. [...]
