Cycling for the Lymphoma Research Trust
Ryan Gallagher from connectmeanywhere.com was telling me a school friend of his and his wife are raising money for the Lymphoma Research Trust by biking the length of the UK (Land’s End to John O’Groats) on a tandem. So I decided to blog it to help push the PR so others can sponsor what is undoubtedly a great cause.
Tim suffered from Hodgkinsons disease as a teen and also has other immediate family who have fought the battle with cancer. To document their trip they are V-Blogging from their mobile phone on the way up. Their blog which they are updating from their mobile phone can be seen at fourlegstwowheels.terapad.com
The lads over at connectmeanywhere.com have sponsored them and like all sponsorships any contribution would be much appreciated, you can donate to the cause here:

So what is v-blogging? I spoke to Ryan earlier today to find out. Basically v-blogging provides you with the ability to blog while on the move. To use v-blogging you just assign a number to a blog and input your username and password and when you phone up, you are asked to record a message (just like V-Mail) and they post it on the site. You can also save what you want the header, tags etc to be. Connectmeanywhere will soon be running it over the MetaWeblogAPI.
If your interested in joining the Beta programme email here and the team at connectmeanywhere can set you up.
So get on your bike and support these two wonderful people
