What’s next, Web3.0?
Sam Sethi and Mike Butcher (formally known as TechCrunch UK) have recently taken over the mashup events calendar from etribes. I’ve been invited as a guest speaker – the theme is What’s next, Web3.0. Thanks for the invite guys.
Also speaking will be Mark Birbeck, CEO of X-Port Ltd, the company behind FormsPlayer and Sidewinder, a next-generation semantic web browser will be speaking. Looking at the info on Sam’s blog, Mark is someone I’ll end up collaborating with I’m sure. Given that Content Labels is made up of RDF I think we could talk for hours.
“His most recent work for the W3C has involved proposing and developing RDFa, a new and simpler way to mark up RDF in documents without having to use RDF/XML.â€
The other panel speakers are yet to be announced. They will be from Mozilla, Second Life and the Mobile Web. I bet Daniel Appelquist will be the Mobile Web guru on the panel. I have a lot of time for Dan and enjoy listening to him. Dan and I work together on the W3C Mobile Web Initiative. In fact, Segala is co-editor of the mobileOK trustmark document with Google and ICRA, so I know a little about mobile web too
More details to follow.
